Metal Cage Trap

Various traps are manufactured to suit fisherman's preference and style, varying from the number and shape of openings and compartments. A recent typical trap comprises of two main sections - kitchen and parlor. At the beginning, a lobster is enticed by baits in the cage; when it enjoys itself, it tries to escape. Then he comes into the parlor. If the lobster is small enough, it easily escapes from the vent which is specially designed for undersized lobster. Or it has to stay in the trap waiting for its fate.

An important problem that lobster trap face is that wire cage is easy to get rusted without zinc coating or PVC coating. To fix this problem, our fishing traps are galvanized and PVC coated to resist erosion and corrosion. In addition, some lobstermen love stainless steel 316L which does better job in sea water than other stainless steel like 304.
